All lessons will be taught by our highly trained professional coaching staff. Our staff is composed of current and former College and Professional players.

We will incorporate the use of our digital video motion analysis system in most one-hour lessons to enhance the development process. Maryland Baseball Academy instructors are experts in analyzing and breaking down mechanics through the use of video. Instructors will show students their mechanics and compare them to Major League players using split screen analysis. This feature will help students better understand the proper mechanics of the skill they are working on. In addition, students will be able to see their improvements from week to week through the use of video.

Lessons can be purchased individually, or in our suggested 4, 8, or 12 week booking packages. You can customize the number of lessons in your booking package. The advantage to signing up for more sessions would be to ensure a specific instructor, day, and hour for a longer period of time. There is no limit to how many weeks you reserve.

We have a 24 hour cancellation policy on all lessons.

There are no make-up lessons for individuals who miss their semi-private or group lesson. Because all of our groups are customized, we do not have open slots in other groups for make-up lessons. A group has the option of rescheduling a lesson if one or more of the participants in the group cannot attend. This must be done within 24 hours of a lesson. Please let us know as early as possible if you will need to reschedule a lesson so that we may offer the open slot to other customers.

There are no refunds or credits for missed lessons.

Important note when scheduling semi-private and group lessons:
Scheduling a semi-private or group lesson(s) requires that a lead parent complete the registration process. The lead parent should pay for the lesson and receive reimbursement from the other parents. Full payment is required to complete the online registration for semi-private and group lessons.

Registration can be taken over the phone if more than one member of the class prefers to pay by credit card. We will need to process each credit card payment before reserving the session(s).

Semi-Private lessons provide individualized attention as there are only two players working with the coach. The semi-private lesson is great for siblings or teammates that enjoy working together. The semi-private lesson also provides an opportunity for the coach to incorporate competitive games into the lesson. This can make a lesson challenging and fun. The cost of doing the private or semi-private lesson is similar for the individual, so choosing which to do is really a matter of personal preference.
